“With his exuberant personality, emphasizing humor above all, Mr. Piazza has earned the reputation as the archetypal cool teacher among the younger set.” — The New York Times on Carmelo "the Science Fellow"

Did you ever think you could teach kids to uncover the layers of the earth using clay, together time, and five simple steps? What if they learned with jokes, vibrant colors, and animated illustrations? Would you guide them with a book filled with fact boxes, real-world applications, and boundless humor? Well then, check out Crazy for Science with Carmelo the Science Fellow, a book that fosters kids’ interest in scientific observation, exploration, and investigation through do-it-yourself experiments!

Carmelo Piazza is a legendary figure in the New York City community. The New York Times has featured parents – just like you – braving the cold in the dead of winter, so children – like yours! – could attend his coveted science workshops. Carmelo’s book features those beloved, hands-on, inquiry-based approaches to biology, chemistry, and physics that appeal so much to children.
